We are looking for the people in the middle who have a passion for the technical aspects of tax. Apply below One of the global leaders in laboratory testing, certification and verification is looking for a Tax and Finance Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team. The Tax and Finance Compliance Manager conducts, manages and oversees the tax function of all entities within the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region, according to the laws for that jurisdiction, in order to ensure that they are fully tax and statutory compliant. Job Objectives: Continuously review and provide ongoing advisory support for tax planning purposes to ensure that the company remains tax compliant and avoids non-conformance. Proactively analyse, identify, review and report on potential Tax Risks. Continuously provide advisory Tax support and advice to relevant departments and personnel, in order to ensure continued Tax compliance. Prepare and monitor Tax calculations and returns submission, in order to ensure timely and up to date payment of Tax. Effectively liaise with external Tax Statutory Partners to ensure that the required Tax support is provided as requested. Review and oversee all monthly Tax reconciliations and reporting, to ensure Tax returns and Financial records balance. Continuously review and ensure that the Tax function is fully compliant with relevant and current statutory and legislative requirements. Job Experience & Skills Required: BCom Accounting/Tax Honours HDip Tax or MCom Tax (desirable) 5-8 years Tax experience 2-3 years’ experience in a Managerial role Relevant tax legislation experience Experience with various African countries (preferred) Knowledge of SAP Business One (preferable) To Apply Click Here Application Deadline: November 26 2023
