A well-established company based in Pinetown, Durban, a leader in the Managed Print Service (MPS) sector, is actively recruiting for a New Business Developer/Account Manager to join their dynamic team at the Pinetown branch. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a small base of existing accounts/customers while initially primarily focused on gaining new customers. Reporting to the MPS Leader, the successful candidate will focus on bringing in and closing new business opportunities across core offerings, Business Process Optimization (BPO), MPS, Software, Office Automation, and Cartridges. This role demands an individual with the "x-factor" in customer service, a commitment to performance, and a proven track record of Growing revenue both new and existing clients. Job Description/Overview: Our BPO solutions drive process digitisation and automation that optimise efficiencies a business., MPS is a solution-oriented service that involves constant monitoring, analysis, and reporting on document processes within corporate client environments. The primary objective is to gain complete control of client document processes, aiming to reduce wasteful printing, enhance staff efficiencies, and drive down operational costs. Our vision is to "pioneer document solutions" by leveraging core offerings to achieve a more optimized print environment. Connecting with Sales Qualified leads to schedule new business meetings (using LinkedIn, existing relationships, and partner networks). Setting up and conducting a minimum of 8 new business appointments per week. Hunting for and closing new business opportunities across core offerings: MPS, Software, Professional Services, Office Automation, and Cartridges. Actively growing the customer base and achieving sales targets across all core offerings. Liaising with internal Green Office departments to secure new clients. Identifying client needs & objectives and meeting them within agreed deadlines. Utilizing Pastel Evolution and Internal CRM systems (training provided). Ensuring all administration and CRM updates are completed weekly. Achieving monthly budgets and targets to ensure the company's growth. Managing small to medium clients with the view to grow their monthly annuity business Matric certificate, along with a relevant tertiary qualification (Sales/Marketing/BCom). 2 – 3 years of business development or sales experience. Driver's license and own reliable transport are essential. Proficiency in MS Office. Business Solutions sales experience in MPS, Document management, and software applications environments will be preferential. CRM or good customer relationship skill set. Required Job Competencies: Good written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy and diligence in completing tasks. Goal-directed. Analytical thinking. Good client relationship management skills. Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to C-Level company representatives. Ability to work in a team. Experience in new business development. Persistence in pursuing and closing deals. Strong administrative and computer skills. Excellent mathematical skills for quotations and profitability reports. Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to problem-solve and find practical solutions to client problems. Strong negotiation skills and ability to be an influencer. Business acumen and a strong understanding of business processes and needs.
