With a focus on excellent customer service and professional expertise, we believe that this role will be a game-changer for the right candidate Experience in growing new businesses and knowledge of airfreight operations in Africa is advantageous.Responsibilities: Growing new business ventures.Achieving profit targets.Transferring existing client bases, if applicable.Utilizing knowledge of airfreight operations in Africa.Identifying potential new clients and opportunities.Taking responsibility for acquiring, maintaining, and growing new business.Maintaining a focused sales mindset.Adherence to the strategic sales strategy.Meeting and exceeding sales targets to contribute to the business.Managing and providing feedback on the sales pipeline.Negotiating rates with service providers.Demonstrating thorough administrative diligence.Collaborating closely with the Operational, Administrative, and Financial departments.Qualifications & Experience: A high school diploma.Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a track record of meeting profit targets.Demonstrated success in growing new businesses.Any existing client base that can be transferred would be highly beneficial.Experience and knowledge in airfreight operations in Africa is advantageous.Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills.Effective sales abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Building both internal and external relationships is crucial.A positive attitude.Self-motivated and ambitious.Strong teamwork skills.Goal-driven.Ability to work under pressure.Valid driver's license.Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Remuneration:We value your expertise and commitment and offer a competitive remuneration package that includes an industry-related basic salary, a generous commission structure based on achieved targets, and a company pension fund contribution.If you are a motivated, results-driven individual seeking a thrilling opportunity to shape the future of logistics, we invite you to join our team.
