Our client is a well established accounting firm in Stellenbosch and has a vacancy for a newly qualified CA (SA). The firm’s client base is broad and you will have the opportunity to service your own group of clients, overseen by your accounting manager. It is therefore important that you are able to work independently, take responsibility and build relationships with your clients. Minimum Requirements & Qualities Relevant accounting qualification Registered (or in the position to register) with SAICA Completed articles Extensive knowledge of the following software: Xero Accounting Caseware Working Papers MS Office Excellent communication skills Very strong analytics and problem solving skills Good time management and able to prioritise Work well under pressure and meet deadlines Duties (Including but not limited to) Preparation of annual financial statements for companies, close corporations, trusts and individuals on Caseware Preparation of monthly management accounts Provisional tax calculations and submissions Income tax calculations and submissions VAT calculations and submissions Review EMP201 calculations Client liaison and maintaining strong relationships with clients Excellent record keeping skills Act as Accounting Manager by assisting junior accounting clerks Salary The salary on offer will be discussed in your interview, and is dependent on qualification and experience.
