Participation in all components of the nGap development programme during the first six (6) years of employment Teaching Mathematics in the Intermediate Phase. Competence in the pedagogy of technology integration in learning, teaching, and assessment Curriculum and academic development and administration Administration, supervision, and evaluation of student practical teaching experiences Learning support for and in multilingual classrooms Perform student assessment. Participate in research activities. Participate in the Quality Assurance activities of the Department. Ability to combine manageable teaching load with a doctoral programme expected of an nGap scholar. Ability to align yourself to hybrid teaching and learning models (face-to-face and online learning). Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department Competencies Excellent teaching skills Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans Sound administrative and technical skills. Good presentation skills Research skills.
