Job Duties
- Front Desk Operations:
- Check-in and check-out guests during the overnight shift.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle reservations and room assignments.
- Financial Transactions:
- Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash, and credit card payments.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
- Verify the accuracy of guest folios and billing information.
- Nightly Auditing:
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in charges and payments.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Maintain records of cash transactions and reconcile cash drawers.
- Security and Safety:
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine patrols of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and premises.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms or medical incidents, following established protocols.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Complete end-of-day procedures, including posting charges, generating reports, and preparing the hotel for the next day's operations.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Assist with administrative duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist guests with special requests, such as arranging transportation or providing local area information.
