What Youll Bring to the Team:
Essential Skills:

• Proficient in JavaScript and Typescript
• Mastery of Node.js and OpenAPI
• Experienced with Angular 5+
• Strong skills in HTML 5, CSS (SCSS), AJAX, REST, JSON, and XML
• Solid background in relational databases (POSTGRES, SQL)
• Micro Service and Freestanding Component Development (POLYMER etc.)

Advantageous Skills:

• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes (AWS / OpenShift advantageous)
• Knowledge of S3, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Fargate (ESC), and Serverless Architecture
• Proficiency in code versioning (Git) and Jenkins

Bonus Points for:

• Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Confluence / Jira
• DevOps experience

Qualifications/Experience:

• Degree in IT or 5 years of relevant experience
• Agile working experience

Your Role and Responsibilities:
Frontend Projects:

• Rapidly experiment with multiple solutions
• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs
• Create re-usable HTML and JS logic
• Ensure all code is readable, extendable, and scalable
• Seamlessly handover code to other developers
• Enhance frontend behavior for a superior user experience

Backend Skills:

• Linux
• RDS (PostgreSQL)
• NodeJS
• Open API
• S3
• ECS (Fargate)
• AWS RDS
• AWS MSK
• AWS CloudWatch

Transition Duties:

• Review and present system solutions to IT PO
• Prepare additional system/technical documentation
• Engage in Knowledge Transition sessions with Suppliers
• Take ownership of the hosted system
• Conduct system implementation and audits/quality assurance
