As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining the physical, mental, and social well-being of our workforce. You will be responsible for providing health and safety services, conducting health assessments, managing workplace injuries, and developing health and wellness programs.
Job Duties:- Conduct pre-employment and periodic health assessments.
- Manage and treat work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Develop and implement health and wellness programs.
- Provide health education and counseling to employees.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
- Monitor and manage employee health trends and recommend preventive measures.
- Liaise with external healthcare providers and specialists as needed.
Minimum Requirements:- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
- Bachelors degree/Diploma in Nursing or a related field.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or equivalent is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational health or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Own vehicle and valid drivers license.
