Mimed (Pty) Ltd is a health business practice that operates under five pillars namely Occupational and primary healthcare services, employee wellness program, emergency medical services and medical supply service Conduct physical examinations on employees to determine the fitness levels of employees. Oversee a team of occupational health nurses, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring proper training. Develop and implement programs to promote employee health and wellness, such as smoking cessation programs, ergonomic training, and stress management workshops. Conduct assessments to identify workplace hazards and potential risks to employee health, then develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Provide education and training to employees on topics such as workplace safety, injury prevention, and proper ergonomics. Coordinate and conduct medical screenings, such as pre-employment physicals, hearing tests, and vision screenings, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA regulations and industry-specific guidelines. Work with management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to occupational health and safety. Implement health surveillance programs to monitor employee health trends and identify any potential health risks within the workplace. Manage the process for reporting and investigating workplace injuries, providing first aid when necessary, and coordinating follow-up care. Collaborate with other departments, such as human resources, environmental health and safety, and management, to promote a culture of health and safety throughout the organization. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to occupational health and safety activities, including injury reports, medical records, and training records. Continuously evaluate and improve occupational health and safety programs and initiatives based on feedback, best practices, and regulatory changes. Matric Degree/Diploma as Professional Nursing Diploma in Occupational Nursing Qualification (a m Dispensing Licence (a must) Computer Literacy 5 years related experience Excellent Planning skills Leadership and organizational skills Confidentiality Communication skills (ability to speak local languages) Interpersonal skills Must have own transport Market related salary Benefits to be discussed at interview stage Apply Now
