Minimum requirements:
Mandarin and English speaking business orientated skills
- Possess a strong command of Mandarin, including verbal, reading, and writing skills.
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- Relevant diploma in business administration, secretarial studies, or a related field.
- 3+ years of working experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping will be advantageous.
Job purpose:
Act as a linguistic bridge between Mandarin-speaking executives and English-speaking counterparts.
Personal Assistant and Secretarial Services:
- Provide high-level administrative support to executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Business Document Handling:
- Read, interpret, and present business reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other business documents in Mandarin and English.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive meetings.
Computer Literacy:
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Chinese computer systems used within the organization.
Assist in basic financial tasks and documentation as required.
