A global award winning client in the automotive industry seeks for an Operations Engineer to join their team Full DevOps and Request Management. Support Production systems (24/7 Standby). System monitoring and maintenance. Incident and Request Management (PIC processes). Operating System is Unix. Oracle database queries. Projects and IPS Upgrades. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Production / manufacturing system operations environment. Oracle Database knowledge (advantageous). UNIX / Linux experience (advantageous). Unix Shell scripting experience (advantageous). Speaking German. Agile experience (advantageous). JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, X-RAY Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users. Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist. Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependent as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality. SELF STARTER.
