Ref: VJ 416069 - Operations and Maintenance Engineer / Solar – (12 Month Contract) Employer Description Our client is a renewable energy contracting company. Job Description You will be responsible for the following: Oversee the field teams in charge of plant construction and the physical acceptance of all new plants. Responsible for the cold commissioning of the BESS (battery energy storage systems) solutions to third parties and manages integrally the customer technically experience with the plants. Management of Field crews for new builds and systems testing maintenance. Logistics and material planning for Plant construction and Maintenance operations. Crews scheduling planning including contracted Service level agreement operations planning. Plants physical Commissioning including commissioning Reports for Installation. Electrical testing for all plants commissioning. Report generation for maintenance operations for customers under SLA. Qualifications BTech/ND Electrical Engineering Skills Min 3 years' experience within the renewable energy industry. Helioscope. Driver's License and been able to drive company vehicle is a must. Willing to travel to sites. Ability to communicate in Afrikaans. Salary / Package R22,000 - R28,000 per month Benefits Company vehicle Cellphone allowance
