Qualification
  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Projects Engineering
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years operational management and production (machine shop) related experience
  • Must have experience in dealing with HR / Labour related issues
Duties
  • Manage and authorise all procurement related to operations / production.
  • Manage all Human Resource related issues, including payroll administration.
  • Responsible for all staffing requirements in the operations / production area.
  • Responsible for housekeeping of the operations / production areas.
  • Ensure that the tool room and maintenance equipment are adequately controlled.
  • Ensure that the necessary maintenance planning and control is carried out.
  • Ensure that in-line quality control is in place and carried out on a daily basis.
  • Monitor and assess quality assurance and customer satisfaction continuously.
  • Responsible for all resources within the quality department, including staff, equipment and the planning thereof.
  • Manage and maintain safety standards throughout the company in accordance with the OSH Act.
  • Ensure that the Quality Management System is maintained and managed.
  • Handling of all quality related issues, i.e., non conformances and customer complaints.
  • Monitor and implement all related improvement projects.
