Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Manage all practical aspects of operations from start to finish relating to the entire business practice of Craig and Sons and its extended divisions Day-to-day planning, set-up and monitor of all activities relating to logistics, automotive (mechanical, electrical, fabrication and technical), and running costs of the business. Plan and execute tasks cost-effective and efficient. Daily reporting on all activities taken place, logistical, projects (mechanical, electrical, technical), HR, and running costs and expenditure Immediate reporting of any irregularities, issues, or risk mitigative solutions Conscious awareness of the ‘current’ state of the business – being able to provide a “snaphot” at a moment’s notice Compilation and reporting of shift rosters, daily to weekly planning and up and coming obligations regarding maintenance, services, warranties, and fuel usage Management and reporting of the fleet tracker system Research, negotiation of price and purchase of parts, equipment, and consumables Management of the workshop staff (including the storage facility) Management of the driver and cleaning staff Assistance to all other departments of the company wrt HR, accounting, and customer service Compilation of quotations, job cards, invoices, and statement of accounts Scheduling of services, replacements, and upgrades Daily fleet, dispatch, and logistics management Relevant experience as an Operations Manager A relevant qualification rerated to Operations Management
