Namlog seeks experienced candidate that will be responsible to ensure that the operation is run in accordance with Namlog's and Clients policies and procedures at all times. Develop and implement business strategies and processes that will improve the efficiency and profitability of the account. Responsible for the operational side of the business and that the operations meets or exceeds our clients service level agreements. Handle all HR issues and ensure the discipline of the in-house employees. Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Ensuring the image and neatness of the operations, Vehicles and Subordinates meet with the company and clients' standards. Management of the site's assets and equipment. Compile and analyse monthly sites performance reports. Preparation and submission of monthly billing for various clients' divisions. Managing the debtors aging of the contract. Management of the Labour Broker timesheets and invoices. Management of the claims against the company. Respond to all client queries timeously and to notify management of any issues raised by the client. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills. Establish and entrench client relationships with all divisions of the client and their Branch Network. Seek alternative business opportunities within the client to improve business processes. Promote continuous improvement of processes and procedures to enhance service delivery to the client. Responsible for the management of client and supplier service level agreements. Ensure that the sites operational activities are captured in accordance with the SOP's. Integrate and Manage the Operational MIS with day to day, weekly and monthly evaluation of collection and Delivery Quality and Productivity, Line Haul Departures and Arrivals, Maintenance of your Fleet, Vehicle performance with regards to operational efficiencies, Driver Performances., Fuel Consumption, Drivecam Evaluation. Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Transport Management related qualification. Minimum of 8 years' experience in the transport industry, with at least 5 years in management position. Local Regulations, Compliance Management and Investigation Knowledge. Management of Health and Safety Knowledge. Total Quality Management and Internal Audit Compliance Knowledge. Knowledge of MS Word/Excel. Reside in the Hillcrest / Pinetown region.
