Requirements: Matric Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Operations Management Qualification 2 Years Supervisory/Management Experience 3 Years Warehouse Experience Pharmaceutical experience advantageous (GMP / GDP) Office / Site (3PL) based Own Vehicle Valid Driver's License Will require travel to distributor coastal & local when required Skills/Physical Competencies Strong excel skills Data analytical skills Project management Good leadership skills Good communication skills Behavioural Qualities Strong sense of urgency Attention to detail Goal/results oriented Responsible and accountable Self-starter/ hands-on approach System driven The main purpose of this position: To manage internal and external customer services, meet and exceed business objectives and ensure the consistent achievement of all third-party logistics' (3PL) KPIs and ad hoc requirements / services from the 3PL You will be required to ensure that communication between Clients staff and the 3PL is effective and in most cases, it will be channelled through yourself Once the communication is complete and there are actions required by either party, it is your responsibility to ensure that the actions are completed effectively You are required to manage, inspire, and motivate colleagues and service providers to ensure operational excellence, high employee engagement and improvement in service performance The Operations Manager must be able to develop new or improve processes, be able to document and train colleagues, build reports, and analyse data, as well as communicate, instruct and work together with our distributor to ensure all SLAs are met Duties & Responsibilities: Third-Party Logistics Management Be the first point of contact between the company and the distributor Give direction or set priorities for the distributor Ensure that all KPI's are within SLA Communicate or resolve any exceptions to the SLA Escalate urgent matters Follow up on actions / activities required from the 3PL Management Systems Build new reports or dashboards (Smartsheet and Power BI) Maintain current reports and dashboards (Smartsheet and Power BI) Analyse the data and make informed decisions Streamline work for enhanced performances Automate processes to free up or save time Inter-Departmental Collaboration Provide support to other departments in the organisation Escalate unresolved matters Report and find solutions for issues Communicate and keep departments updated Apply Now
