The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing procurement, safety, quality control, manufacturing, and distribution activities. The goal is to ensure products are produced to specific standards and delivered on time, efficiently and effectively. Procurement and Storage of Raw Materials | Health, Safety and QC | Production and Packaging | Warehousing and Stock Management | Distribution and ETAs | Budgeting and Forecast [annual operations budget, incl. production, distribution, and facilities] and Costings | Capex projects | Process Management and Supply Chain processes and Reporting | Staff Management | Production Equipment maintenance Qualification and Experience BCom or similar qualification Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in MS Office Experience with an ERP system Excellent people management skills Good knowledge of SHE requirements and compliance Strong planning, organizing, and controlling skills Industrial relations experience Good communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Must be in possession of a valid Driver’s License Subject: Operations Manager The post Operations Manager (Manufacturing) appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
