Operations Manager- Occupational Health - Cape Town Region

A vacancy exists for a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to manage national Occupational Health division. Duties & Responsibilities: Supervise and manage SD Recruitment Health clients. Coordinate the alignment and appointment of staff in designated areas/clinics. Conduct interviews with Human Resources for Occupational Health nursing positions in assigned clinics/facilities. Evaluate the occupational health risks and arrange for medical surveillance, as necessary. Provide orientation for new appointees. Implement performance management procedures for staff. Assess and oversee the training and development of staff. Manage all overtime and relief staff expenditures. Ensure the operational efficiency of allocated clinics/facilities. Monitor allocated clinics to operate within agreed income and expense budgets. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID) Act, and other relevant regulations as outlined in Statement of Work (SOW) and contracts. Conduct regular visits to allocated clinics/facilities. Perform service component audits. Conduct regular meetings with management at clinic/facility locations. Review monthly clinic reports and take necessary actions. Standardise service delivery across all allocated clinics. Coordinate allocated clients at head office level. Chair monthly meetings with allocated head office management. Address and resolve problem areas and implement decisions. Compile monthly and annual feedback reports, including meeting minutes. Job Requirements Degree/Diploma in Nursing with relevant certifications 5 years’ experience in general nursing practice and 3 years’ experience in an Operations Management position within Occupational Health Communication and motivation Skills Interpersonal skills Organisation and delegation Forward planning and strategic thinking Problem solving and decision-making.
