Company based in Pretoria is looking for a AWS/Azure Operations & Incident Manager to join their team on a contract until Dec 2026. South African citizens / Permanent Residents with SA ID number. Remote work/ On-site work location flexibility. Start as soon as possible. Java development experience of at least 5 years. (OCA preferable, OCP more so). At least 2 years AWS and Azure experience. Clean ITC/credit record and no criminal record. Management/Coordination of Incidents across several internal & external support organisations. Config management & Service management. Active participation in Agile ceremonies. Deployments/ Releases. Required to attend to operational incidents when required as well as be on occasional standby. AWS technologies: AWS Networking, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Lambda, RDS, EKS, ElastiCache, Aurora, VPC. Azure technologies: Azure networking, SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor. Kubernetes and Docker. ITIL processes, in particular Incident , Problem Management, Configuration Management.
