Our client, based in Southern Suburbs CT, is looking for a dynamic, passionate and results driven Operations Manager with CIS (CISCA) and linked-life company (Insurance Act 18 of 2017) experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the running and general oversight of all operational areas of the platform business. This individual needs to be confident and willing to get involved in every aspect of the business where required. Key Responsibilities: Oversight of all administration and operations Process review, process updates and ensuring teams are adhering to processes. Team training on products and services Monthly team meetings Facilitate on-boarding of new clients. Facilitate and implement due diligence process. Client liaison Liaise with outsourced administrator. Monitor outsourced administrator performance/deliverables. Monitor controls. Supporting the CEO or executive team’s vision and process ideals Ensuring staff working on processes are happy and operating efficiently. Supporting all functions of the business including risk and compliance Ensure queries are addressed and deal with escalations. Document and filing management of folders. Asist in meeting statutory deadlines and submissions Special projects Assist in management reports and Board reporting. Update and maintain product documentation (welcome letters, forms, policy documents) Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Relevant qualification Positive energy/attitude to build team morale. Experience working for linked-life company and or CIS/Manco Strong communication written and telephonic skills. Ability to manage and lead/grow a team. Analytical thinker with ability to problem solve. Well organised and results driven. Project management skills Knowledge on the following regulations would be an advantage: Insurance Act 18 of 2017 Prudential Standard GOI4 Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002 (“FAIS”) Financial Intelligence Centre Amendment Act 1 of 2017 (“FICAA”) Collective Investment Schemes Control Act 45 of 2002 (“CISCA”) Solvency Assessment and Management (“SAM”)
