Job Summary : This role will be responsible for overseeing operations across the designated warehouse sites, assuming responsibility for their effective management. They will diligently assess and enhance workflow and organizational procedures, with a keen emphasis on driving ongoing enhancements in quality, productivity, and efficiency. Compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks governing warehouses and commodities will be paramount. Professional engagement with stakeholders, both internal and external, will be essential to realizing company objectives and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Performance Areas: · Team Coordination: o To effectively lead, motivate, and coordinate warehouse teams for seamless operations while introducing systematic training initiatives. o Effectively manage productivity at its highest level for all shifts on a daily basis. o Facilitating efficient operational meetings and collaborating closely with administrative functions to optimize revenue streams. · Operations Coordination: o Maintain a professional and safe work environment by overseeing all activities with diligence. o Coordinate and monitor the efficient allocation of resources on a daily basis. o Regularly observe ongoing operations across all areas to ensure adherence to productivity and performance benchmarks, taking proactive measures to address any deviations from standards. Client Liaison: o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and timely resolution of issues. o Gather client feedback to continually improve service delivery and satisfaction levels. · Budget and Reporting: o Develop, execute, and oversee cost control measures while safeguarding sensitive information. o Manage the preparation and delivery of reports to both internal and external clients, adhering to operational protocols. o Continuously improve the warehouse management and billing system. Additionally, support statistical reporting and budgeting efforts. · Compliance: o Ensure compliance with ISO/SHEQ/EIA Procedures Namibian Citizen Grade 12 or equivalent Valid Driver's license Computer literate: Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business management or equivalent. Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar position preferably in clearing and forwarding, shipping, port, container terminals and/or warehouse operations.
