Operations Officer - Bloemfontein

Do you want to be part of a team where every meal served and every surface cleaned makes a meaningful impact? We're looking for a dedicated Operations Officer who's ready to bring warmth and nourishment to those who need it most.

Minimum requirements:

• Availability to work outside regular office-hours as and when required
• Proven experience working in food preparation and the organizing of a kitchen
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
• Must be able to work in a team
• Must be clean and neat

Duties will include:

• The planning of the daily menu for (a) the staff and work teams’ lunch, and (b) the afternoon soup kitchen
• The tasty preparation and serving of these meals (up to 100+ people), and the cleaning afterwards of the cooking area, stoves and worksurfaces
• The managing and organizing of the processing of all vegetables and other fresh products
• The organizing and managing of all the kitchen cupboards, and keeping it tidy
• The planning and organizing of everything related to food at special functions and meals
• Responsible for the daily cleaning of certain areas around the offices

Mondays - Fridays

08:00-17:00
