We currently have the above position available at our flexible packaging printing facility and wish to invite all suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration. The incumbent, reporting to the Laminating Supervisor, is responsible to manage and operate a laminating press to produce laminated matter to pre-set quality and quality standards. Operates Laminator and ensures that the Job is run to customer specification, Standard Operating Procedures are followed and that the Laminated product has enough adhesive Record information on timesheets and VTM Runs all production and records accordingly Test laminated product against SOP Use correct equipment for testing Maintain all standard operating procedures A Grade 10 qualification 3 years' experience within a Flexible Packaging environment 1-3 years Laminating experience within a Flexible Packaging environment Knowledge & understanding of the Laminating Process Knowledge of Production Management System Knowledge of all Standard Operating Procedures in the Flexible Packaging Industry Problem Solving Skills Analytical ability Good communication skills – both verbal and written Ability to work shifts
