We currently have the above-mentioned position available at our Production printing facility and wish to invite all suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration The incumbent, reporting to the SALSA Production Manager, will be responsible for but not limited to: • Deliver daily output and volume of custom labels following the Digital Print process • Understand and produce customer job order instructions and specifications • Review all proofs and final product samples produced • Maintain quality and production standards in accordance with company print practices • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, mechanical problems and colour variance • Maintain a safe workplace by following safety rules, use safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to Safety Team and/or Production Manager • Minimum 5 years work experience in a Production environment • Minimum 3 years Digital Printing experience • Qualified HP Operator • Experience in routine machine maintenance • Computer Literate • Good eye for detail and colour (must pass Ishihara Test for colour deficiency) • Ability to identify and fix any quality related defects • Understands the operation of equipment & machinery in relevant department • Assertive and goal orientated • Proactive with problem solving skills • Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative
