INTRODUCTION Komatsu has an opportunity for a qualified Operator: Trackpress who has experience in undercarriage assembly and repair to assisting the serviceman with the press operations, basic maintenance & housekeeping at the Witbank branch. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in Leading & Directing Africa Operation's Division (refer to leadership role content for detail roles) Lower Operational SHE Participates and understands risk assessment Cleans premises, tools, vehicles, equipment, etc. Checks stock levels of disposable items Initiates orders for replenishment of cleaning materials with Serviceman/ Foreman Keeps checklists of materials required Reports any maintenance issues to supervisor immediately Competencies Accepting Responsibility Testing and Troubleshooting Adapting to Change Performing Physical or Mechanical Tasks Reading Effectively Managing Time Displaying Technical Expertise Delivering High-Quality Work Attentive Listening Working Safely Demonstrating Tenacity and Perseverance Minimum requirements Grade 12 with technical subjects, or N3 1 Year general workshop, technical environment experience Basic knowledge of workshop tools Valid drivers' license (code 8) an advantage Other certifications an advantage (forklift, crane, welding) but not required Experience in undercarriage assembly/repair Basic knowledge of high pressure environments & vessels (Stored energy) General understanding of undercarriage wear patterns & causes Business processes 1.
