Ops Administrator (COLD STORAGE) - Cape Town City Centre

The Operations Administrator will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our clients operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of their operational processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting overall business objectives. This position demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

  • Assist with the management of inventory, including procurement, storage, and distribution of goods.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and records.

  • Liaise between departments to promote effective communication and operational alignment.

  • Manage schedules, deadlines, and logistics for the operations department.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing documents.

  • Support operational projects and initiatives as directed by the Operations Manager.

  • Address and resolve any issues related to operations, escalating complex problems to management.

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all operational activities.

Skills:

  • Proficiency with office management software like MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems,

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities,

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Administrator, Operations Assistant, or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of business operations and processes in the meat distribution industry.

  • High school diploma; further education in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
