Reference: JHB000031-Charl-1South coast based client is looking for an XRT sorter operator to produce a consistent and accurate assortment to the required standards by following precise codified processes and using bespoke sorting techniques. Key responsibilities include: Ensure that all tasks are performed in a safe manner and according to organisational SHE standards. Adhere to all procedures designed to maintain security, integrity and confidentiality of the product and company data. Escalate and report all non-compliances to senior production controller or audit depending on the anomaly's nature. Ensure allocated production workload is completed to the agreed product quality standards with close reference to samples and assortment guides, following a right-first-time approach. Carry out routine operations on the various computer systems to support the sorting / valuing function. Coach, support and confirm sorting tasks completed by supervised sorters or trainees, so as to maintain overall assortment consistency within the department. Network appropriately to flag any mechanical problems that may arise with technical support services / production standards / security or any stakeholder relevant to the process. Apply available systems effectively by operating and performing user functions across the various computer systems and machinery used within the area to carry out core tasks. Ensure jobs are completed to required standards and jobs are reconciled or balanced as and when required.
