As an Estate Consultant, you are the human element in the Estate Administration process. This means that you will be the primary point of contact for any client or Financial Advisor during the estate administration process. Obtaining a set amout of LOEs per month. In new estates meetings, explain the estates process, time frames and costs with client/families/beneficiaries and Brokers. Ensure the quality of onboarding is in line with our standards as set out in the H2W and is done within our business durations. Ensure that beneficiaries and Brokers are communicated with and kept well informed during the onboarding process. Ensure that all active enquiries that will not be converted to an estate are deactivated within our business durations, and instruction sent to ECA to action. Ensure that renunciations to be identified are dealt with as per our business process – telephone discussion with beneficiaries and Broker, terms letter sent and follow up if terms letter expires. Actively driving cash shortfalls and putting beneficiaries on terms where necessary. Following up on requirements outstanding so that we can onboard the estate successfully. Expanding your knowledge with regard to basic deceased estates processes. Ensure that joint (EC/EP) L&D meetings are booked and held with all beneficiaries once the L&D has passed the QA check. Work effectively with teams by sharing knowledge and supporting team members. Manage diary and time management skills effectively. Work closely with Estate Practitioners and provide support when necessary. Be able to identify issues early on in the estate administration journey to mitigate risk and have acceptable control of such e.g., shortfalls and complaints. Matric certificate Industry related degree or diploma preferred Minimim of 1 to 5 years' experience in independantly managing a portfolio of estates Legal, fiduciary or trust background is essential Own vehicle and valid drivers licence are essential Computer literate Highly organised with a high level of client-centricity Attention to detail Good reporting skills Working on expanding knowledge and need little management Team player Empathetic, friendly professional and accountable Assertive yet compassionate Ability to perform under pressure Mature, confident and resilient Excellent listening and communication skills R360 000 - R390 000 PA
