MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Qualification in Food Technology
- At least 3 years working experience in a pressurized packhouse environment
- Production and management experience would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to work with and lead a team
- Energetic, hardworking, and self-driven individual
- Maintenance orientated
- Valid drivers license
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:- Packaging Stock Control of over 100 SKUs
- Fresh Produce Stock Control and Procurement
- Liaising with Farm Managers regarding harvest requirements
- Controlling Efficient Packhouse Production with a Staff Complement of over 80
- Controlling inhouse Occupational Safety Protocols
- Vehicle a Distribution Management, primarily to major retail DCs
- Compliance with Food Safety and GlobalGap policies and managing the annual audits for both
- Bottom Line Responsibility for Packhouse Profitability
