RESPONSIBILITIES: Co-ordination and execution of the packing program as planned by the marketing manager Effectively manage staff and ensure compliance with company policies Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements Relevant financial/logistical administration and record keeping (labour, packing material, chemicals, overtime, stock etc.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Matric with relevant tertiary qualifications Background in the citrus packing industry with minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role. Excellent mechanical skill of packhouse equipment (Compac) and sound knowledge of maintenance. Must be willing to work irregular and long hours unique to citrus and vegetable packing industry. Good communication skills Excellent leadership and people management skills.
