Packhouse position in the West Rand - Krugersdorp - Tarlton Duties Organize and control the performance of the team. Monitor and discipline team members as necessary to ensure adherence to standards and goals Ensure that team morale and attitude are maintained at a high level. Foster a positive and supportive work environment Address team issues through formal HR procedures. Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts and disputes within the team. Monitor food safety practices to uphold quality standards. Ensure that produce is packed according to established quality guidelines. Maintain HR structures such as attendance registers and leave management systems. Ensure that team members wear correct protective clothing as required. Collaborate with machine operators to optimize the efficiency of mechanical elements in the work station. Identify and report any mechanical issues for timely resolution. Provide feedback and insights during daily start-up meetings regarding the team's performance. Analyse reasons for targets being missed or exceeded and provide recommendations for improvement. Lead the team by making critical-thinking decisions within their scope of authority. Escalate decisions beyond their authority to management for intervention when necessary.
