Packing Shift Supervisor - Cape Town Region

Leading Manufacturing Company requires a strong leader to Supervise Packing Team.
This assertive individual with the ability to supervise a team and lead by example will be required to:
Ensures that all activities are planned and coordinated
Ensure that requirements and on time delivery objectives are met
Ensure that all jobs are according to the standard set by the Company
Maximise productivity and efficiency through quality improvements in order to increase profitability
Take responsibility for the setup, operations and management of the Packaging department
Pre shift inspection of all scales, ensuring that they are collaborated serviced regular ensuring accurate counts per jobs.
Ensure quality measures are in place
Monitoring of overtime and stock.
Ensure compliance to OHSA regulations
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Matric Certificate
Minimum 5 years Warehouse Supervisory experience is essential
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management would be an added advantage
Working knowledge of Ms Office
Hyster drivers licence will be beneficial
