Paid Media Analyst & Budget Manager - Cape Town City Centre
Key Responsibilities: Data Analytics:
Deep knowledge of performance and traditional media data analysis through statistical techniques.
Experience with full stack Google Marketing Analytics or similar platforms, with the ability to leverage insights to inform brand and product marketing strategies.
Competency in web traffic data analysis through custom scripts or queries.
Web tagging experience
Proficiency in writing Python and SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Conduct in-depth analysis of advertising data to assess the performance of campaigns across diverse platforms.
Data-Driven Media Strategy Development:
Develop and refine media strategies using data models that align with business goals.
Implement market research and data analysis to provide in-depth understanding of trends and performance across digital and traditional media channels.
KPI setting across platforms and ongoing tracking of campaign metrics towards business goals
Attribution Modeling and Media Planning:
Construct and refine attribution models to assess the effectiveness of different advertising channels
Oversee the planning and execution of media campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring data-driven optimization of traffic and revenue.
Budget Optimization through Data Analysis:
Manage advertising budgets with a focus on data-driven allocation to maximize brand awareness and return on investment (ROI).
Cross-Functional Data Integration:
Collaborate with key stakeholder teams to integrate data-based insights into broader media strategies and company objectives.
In-Depth Data Analysis and Reporting:
Working with data science teams to develop and manage dynamic models and predictive analytics for campaign optimization.
Regularly provide comprehensive reports to senior management with advanced data visualizations and actionable insights.
Campaign Optimization:
Execute A/B testing and other optimization methodologies to refine campaign performance.
Employ data-driven approaches to optimize targeting, messaging, and creative elements.
Continuously monitor and assess campaign performance to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
Industry Innovation:
Stay ahead in the field of AI in advertising, maintaining an in-depth understanding of applications within the industry.
Budget Management:
Formulate and manage advertising budgets across various advertising channels.
Monitor expenditure and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Fine-tune budget allocation to amplify ROI and attain advertising objectives.
Reporting and Insights:
Produce regular reports and presentations to convey key findings and insights to stakeholders.
Offer recommendations for advertising strategies grounded in data analysis and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Experience with full stack Google Marketing Analytics or similar platforms.
Proven track record in managing advertising budgets and optimizing campaign performance.
