Job Description

Your duties will encompass:

Adherence to safe work practices and good housekeeping.
Carry out the grinding of rolls and adhere to the grinding procedures.
Monitor the operation of the grinding machinery.
Check and ensure quality of rolls relating to surface finish, hardness, Ultrasonic Tester and the dimensions.
Ensure correct balancing of grinding wheels prior to operating the roll grinder machine.
Ensuring of training to all roll grinders with regards to SOP.
Ensure SOP for roll grinding is updated and roll grinders is trained on SOP.
Ensure Skin pass rolls are grinded properly within tolerance and blasting quality is done properly.
Ensure both roll grinding machines is in good working order.
