To manage and lead a small team of sales and administrative staff ensuring that the unit's sales and operational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Manage the Sales team activities and performance. Set individual sales targets and ensure sales targets are met through coaching and training of individuals. To manage the Investment book of the Executive Financial Advisor (EFA) To serve as the primary contact for the EFA, the clients, other key stakeholders and manage the information flow in, and out of the unit. Assist the Executive Financial Advisor (EFA) to interpret and align the Unit's goals and activities with the Morebo Group strategy and execute the Unit Sales and Operational plan accordingly. Promote a culture of collaboration within the Unit and with other Units in the Morebo Group. Provide direction to the Unit team members to achieve the Unit's goals and establish and maintain a monitoring and evaluation system to track both Unit and individual performance relative to monthly, quarterly and annual targets. Develop a fit-for-purpose Unit Performance Report for the EFA and submit it for discussion every fortnight. Conduct weekly and monthly individual performance reviews with Unit Team members with less than 24 months service in the Unit. Prepare proposals and financial needs analysis to assist in the acquisition of new business to the required standard of accuracy and timeliness. Perform new business environmental scans (geographic, economic, and socio-economic) and produce succinct reports to evaluate the Unit Sales and Operational plan and propose a realignment where justified. Stay informed about industry and legislative shifts as well as new products and internal system changes and swiftly communicate such changes to the Unit Team members in a properly documented manner. Provide quality client service, effectively responding to and handling complaints and enquiries. Ensure the Unit follows the relevant Morebo Group Systems and Procedures and network through the broader Morebo Group to ensure the Unit is compliant with these systems and procedures. Assist with portfolio updates on the Financial Planning System. Perform the following key administrative functions . Pre-populate Application forms, FAIS documents, Additional Contribution and Withdrawal forms. Request quotes from Service Providers. Request FICA documents when required. Assist with the preparation of client review reports . Promote the Morebo Group brand at every opportunity and represent its interests at industry forum meetings. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Matric or equivalent of Senior certification. Bachelor's degree in financial planning or relevant qualification at NQF 6 level. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) will be an advantage. Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives. 3 to 5 years' experience in the financial industry/insurance is preferred. Proven track record and success in sales environment. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Demonstrated advanced Excel skills. (This is considered a critical job skill) Demonstrated intermediate (or advanced) Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills. Sufficiently computer literate to learn and apply new IT skills as required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Solid financial and business acumen. Ability to plan, forecast and budget for sales annually. People orientated and ability to manage teams/entrepreneurs. Good conflict resolution skills. Target and process driven. Above average problem solving and analytical skills.
