KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Develop an annual business plan and budget in line with the reserve management plan
• Develop an anti-poaching program in consultation with Resource security office and regional Manager
• Develop and implement equipment and infrastructure maintenance plans
• Develop an annual wildlife and monitoring plan
• Management of subordinates
• Liaison and neighbour relations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus a 3-year Tertiary qualification in Nature Conservation / Environmental Sciences or relevant equivalent qualification.
• At least 2-3 years experience in the Conservation and/or Eco-tourism environment at supervisory level within the Protected Area environment and within field related duties.
• Sound knowledge of labour relations.
• Knowledge of relevant environmental and financial legislative framework.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English due to client base
