The primary purpose of this position is to advance quality and inclusion by offering pastoral care to students affected by gender-based violence. The incumbent will provide pastoral care and counselling to the affected students so they can overcome and transcend a circumstance until their former condition is restored. KEY ACTIVITIES Identify and communicate with affected/ violated students. Respond to the spiritual life needs of the students and the University at large. Help GBV-affected students by rendering pastoral counselling. Assist students in re-establishing broken relationships if such has occurred. Nurture students to enable them to develop their potential. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences. Five years' experience in a Higher Education Sector. Experience in counselling and student support. Experience in report writing OTHER REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Knowledge and understanding of the university context.
