Our client is looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join their company. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in a pastry position in the kitchen Must have grade 12 A formal cooking/ diploma is preferable. Experience in a la carte and banqueting preparation. Previous experience with chocolate and sugar work. Duties and Responsibility: Train and motivate pastry chefs. Manage the a la carte and banqueting pastry pass daily. Create and maintain recipes. Daily meetings and handovers, stock counts, and mise-en-place. Maintain and achieve food costing targets. Maintain hygiene standards in your section. Salary: R 8500 to R 12000 Live in position
