This position offers an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for finance and leadershi Oversee and direct payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and tax obligations. Supervise the payroll team, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain precise payroll records to facilitate smooth operations. Collaborate with other departments to address payroll-related inquiries and issues. Qualification Chartered Accountant or Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (or related field). Desirable: Certificate in Employment Law or Tax. Experience: 5 years of Payroll and Compensation experience. 3 years of Payroll management experience. 3 years of People management experience. 3 years of Audit/financial management experience. Key Competencies: In-depth understanding of payroll principles, processes, and systems. Familiarity with accounting and auditing principles. Knowledge of employment and tax law, as well as relevant labour legislation. Experience in remuneration and benefits benchmarking. Understanding of package structures and regulatory reporting requirements. Skills and Abilities: Strong skills in payroll and compensation management. Ability to conduct remuneration and benefits benchmarking. Proficiency in package structuring. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration. Negotiation skills for resolving conflicts and reaching agreements. Strong report writing abilities. Effective planning and organizing skills. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
