Overview / Purpose of the job:
Compile and record employee time and payroll data. May compute employees' time worked, production, and commission. May compute and post wages and deductions or prepare paychecks
Min Requirements:
- Diploma of 1 to 3 years / NQF level 6
- 3 - 5 years’ experience
- VIP Premier Payroll
- NBCRFLI (bargaining council) experience preferred
- MS Excel advanced
- Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for capturing the bi-weekly and monthly attendance registers into excel from manual forms.
- Insert complex formulas for the attendance registers
- Ensure accuracy of the attendance registers.
- Submit attendance register to Financial Manager for approval and formula check
- Process leave onto VIP and NBCRFLI site
- Ensure all leave forms are submitted and accounted for
- Prepare Performance Based Reward (PBR) calculations on attendance register and submit to site HR office
- Receive all PBR adjustments from site HR office
- Amend and finalize PBR figures and submit to payroll administrator
- Prepare stats per fortnight on PBR figures and submit to director
- Assist payroll administrator with payroll queries
- Complete exit documents (withdrawal forms, UI19 certificates & certificate of service)
- Confirm employment of employees with 3rd parties.
- Review monthly payroll
