Reference: FRP002620-TH-1We are looking for a Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team. Role and Responsibilities :- Obtain and manage PRP files from branches- Handle new starters, terminations, salary increases, and payroll information from branches.- Set up new clients on VIP according to signed costing agreements.- Process weekly and monthly payroll.- Distribute payslips to branches and address any payroll queries.- Manage employee InfoSlip linking, email updates, and uploads.- Prepare and upload EFT payments per company.- Handle payroll queries and distribute necessary documents upon branch request.- Manage payroll advances, expenses, and deductions.- Print payroll reports and run ODBC reports and journals for finance.- Balance checklist with finance reports weekly and clear payroll queries.- Balance cost items monthly and capture temp leave balances.- Conduct backups of VIP and tax year systems.- Prepare Excel reports for branches.- Assist with integration projects and test integrations.- Ensure effective operations of the payroll department.- Mentor payroll staff and assist with work-related filing.- Reconcile EMP201 reports and upload figures to SARS website.- File EMP501 and maintain VIP for file exports.- Maintain and update EsyFile employer system.- Update ESS system and communicate updates to IT department.- Keep VIP Payroll updated with SAGE VIP updates.- Manage COIDA changes on VIP and file returns.- Handle commission accruals and calculations.- Reconcile payroll accounts to GL and capture NedFleet recon for finance.- Upload third-party VIP payments and send proof of payments.- Authorize finance payments and manage UIF declarations.- Apply for tax directives.
