DUTIES: Administer payroll within company policies and procedures Collect, Check and Capture Monthly timesheets, Attendance registers and Payroll input Check, Calculate and Capture all Payroll Allowances and Deductions ensuring compliance with Authorized signatories and procedures Process Leave data on Leave Flow system, processing and capturing Leave encashments and Overtime leave credits ensuring compliance with Leave policies Preparing employee compensation by the end of each month using SAP Payroll Software Capture New employee data ensuring all required information is in Take-on pack and preparing personnel file Capture Exit employee data in line with Exit checklist, Exit procedure and preparing Certificate of Service, UIF documentation, Provident fund documentation and final pay Process and Capture all Staff movement updates Ensure Statutory Payroll Deductions are deducted and deductions comply with percentages as stipulated by Tax-, UIF-, EIPF/MIPF-, EIPF/MIPF Sick Pay Fund- and Old Mutual regulations. Ensure Voluntary Old Mutual Spousal and GLA Cover and Hollard Funeral Cover is deducted as per agreement with company Run, Print and Check dummy payroll monthly, ensure Cost to Company package balance, double check inputs and report discrepancies to management Printing, Sorting and Distributing payslips Sorting and Distributing any other payroll information as required ie IRP5’s, Provident fund statements, Important communication to employees Respond to payroll questions/queries and resolve payroll errors Preparing manual payments Extract Basic SAP reports Complete documentation, assisting employee to compile and submit application to Sick Pay Fund and monitoring claim resolution Assist Clinic with pay-related information for COIDA claims Assist employees with UIF claim forms, e.g. Maternity, Paternity, Illness, Unemployment Manage employment confirmations, prepare confirmation of employment letters and confirmation letters for overseas travel as and when required Employee record maintenance and annual archiving REQUIREMENTS: Abet level 4 Payroll related qualification required Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years SAP payroll experience.
