Reference: CTF018940-HAY-1 This well-established, JSE listed company requires the assistance of a Payroll Practitioner to join their team in the East Rand of Johannesburg. You will be responsible for administering all payroll processes and ensuring that all employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner. Collate and capture the time records of employees to calculate hours worked to make accurate payments Ensure the payment of employees are accurately captured and imported onto the payroll Ensure that new starters and terminations are correctly processed on the payroll Maintain records of regular deductions from employees' payments Record and file leave forms together with supporting documentation, i.e. medical notes, death certificates, etc. Assist the Payroll Manager with the processing of all third-party payments Coordinate efforts between the payroll department and other departments in order to ensure accurate employee data is captured onto the payroll Ensure the correct filing of all payroll input, timesheets, and employee documents Regular audits on employee files on your respective payroll Maintain employee records and ensure that changes correctly are updated on the payroll Assist the Payroll Manager with all salary/wage queries Work according to the organisation's payroll policies and procedures Ensure maximum compliance with labour laws Update salary sheets and schedules when necessary Assist the Payroll Manager with the annual salary increase process Prepare various payroll reports when requested Carry out all other duties that you may be instructed to do from time to time by your line manager Skills & Experience: Minimum 4-5 years' experience in Payroll Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks Deadline driven and attention to detail High level of integrity Experience in working with confidential information Qualification: SAGE 300 People experience is compulsory.
