Performance Test Engineer - Johannesburg

What will you do? Performance Tester will be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing performance tests of our software applications to ensure they meet performance and scalability requirements. This role requires strong technical skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders. What will make you successful in this role? Design and develop performance testing scenarios and scripts to evaluate software application performance and scalability Conduct analysis of test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements and optimizations Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, architecture, infrastructure, and operations, to ensure that performance testing is aligned with project goals and objectives Identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to improve performance and scalability Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks, tools, and processes to improve testing efficiency and accuracy Develop and maintain test data management strategies to ensure test data accuracy, relevance, and security Participate in performance testing tool evaluations and make recommendations for tool selection based on project requirements Continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and proactively address issues before they impact application performance Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in performance testing and share knowledge with team Build a successful career with us We're all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
