General DetailsLocation:Port Elizabeth, Eastern CapeAdvertised By:AgencyJob Type:Full-Time DescriptionOur client in the leading Automotive Industry is looking for a Project Engineer (Paint Shop Planning) to join their dynamic team.
Type of Position:



Preparing investment studies including timing, layout and production concept development, and options for possible new product.



Ensuring timing and milestones are met (Setting up of a Project Plan).



Preparing the build strategy for new product in line with Group principle.



Develop specification for new facilities.

Appropriation requests.

Technical evaluation of tenders.







Project implementation


:



Site establishment, construction/installation, change point management, co-ordination of stakeholders during construction, commissioning, keeping to timing schedule.



Ensuring supplier provides documentation for facility (operating manuals, maintenance manuals, drawings etc.







Education and Experience:



Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Mechatronics.




Minimum 3 years’ experience in facility specification, procurement and successful introduction in a complex process production environment.










Skills, Attributes & Other requirements:



Must have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Must be computer literate.




Possess organisational, coordination and planning skills.




Have an ability to manage project and lead a diverse team from various departments.




Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.




Have an ability to work independently and be self-motivated to achieve targets.




Technical insight and aptitude.




Must have good communication skills.
