PERSONAL ASSISTANT - LODGE / HOSPITALITY (HAZYVIEW, MPUMALANGA) - Hazyview

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the lodge by managing the Lodge Manager's schedule, handling administrative tasks, and anticipating their needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Lodge Manager's calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate communication between the Lodge Manager and various stakeholders, including staff, guests, and vendors.
  • Organize and prepare presentations, reports, and other documents.
  • Handle travel arrangements for the Lodge Manager, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Manage the Lodge Manager's inbox, prioritizing and responding to emails and phone calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Research and compile information on relevant topics as requested by the Lodge Manager.
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system and ensure all documentation is organized and readily accessible.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Anticipate the Lodge Manager's needs and proactively offer support.
  • Maintain a professional and confidential demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Discreet, reliable, and trustworthy with a strong sense of confidentiality.
  • A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Understanding of lodge operations and the hospitality sector (Bonus).
