Currently, the business is exploring pop up stores to sell the ready to wear range. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to the Director’s working life and communication. Working Schedule: Twice a week, Half Day on both days. Responsibilities: o The person needed will be assisting with the day to day running of the fashion design business. o Be in charge of gathering the necessary materials for a design. Places, where the fabric can be bought, will be supplied. It’s mostly in Joburg CBD and Krugersdorp. o Deliveries: When we have a lot of deliveries to make, the incumbent will be needed to do some deliveries. So, a good knowledge of JHB and PTA is required, otherwise, a GPS will come in handy. o Act as the point of contact between the manager and internal/external clients o Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence o Handle requests and queries appropriately o Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments for client fittings, DR’s appointments, etc. (This can be done virtually, no need for personal presence) o Make travel arrangements o Take dictation and minutes o Source office supplies o Produce reports, presentations, and briefs o Devise and maintain an office filing system o Ad hoc tasks or responsibilities as required by management. Inherent Requirements: o Proven work experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally in a fashion environment. o Fashion background a huge plus. o Knowledge of office management systems and procedures o MS Office and English proficiency o Outstanding organizational and time management skills o Up-to-date with the latest office gadgets and applications o Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload o Excellent verbal and written communications skills o Discretion and confidentiality o Must be poised, polished and professional o Must be able to manage personalities of all kinds with a mature and positive attitude. o It would be preferable if you had your own car. o Matric o PA diploma or certification would be considered an advantage.
