The role incorporates the evaluation of ambulatory PMB applications in line with reimbursement guidelines, communication with healthcare professionals and participation in the “exceed the customer expectations” principles of the organisation. Specific deliverables: Operating Model: Accurately assess medicine benefit forms and process according to clinical guidelines Assess pharmaceutical updates according to procedure and intervene where applicable Correctly maintain and update patient profiles Ensure treatment plans are technically accurate and communicated with patients and doctor Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience as a Pharmacist Assistant Knowledge of managed care /retail pharmacy and PMB is an advantage. Managed Care: 2 years (Preferred) Qualifications: Pharmacy Assistant Qualification (Post Basic) Relevant and active registration with regulatory body (SAPC, HPCSA) License/Certification Pharmacist Registration (Preferred) Apply Now
