We are seeking a Pharmacist with oncology and chemo mixing experiene Brief Job Description The successful incumbent will be required/ be responsible for: All duties & responsibilities of a “pharmacist” as required by the council Receipt and control of schedule 6 stock Maintain schedule 6 register/scripts Control of daily temperatures of the warehouse Check of expiry date of stock/stock rotation Investigate any drug stock discrepancies Maintain pre-agreed stock levels Review stock levels weekly and monthly Formulate orders for suppliers & liaise with buying department Maintain batch numbers and expiry dates on stock system Maintenance and updating of sop's Oversee any return of scheduled goods Oversee quarantine requirements of oncology stock Oversee destruction of expired drugs Oversee batch recalls Regular self-inspections of schedule drug warehouse/pharmacy & oncology Cycle/random stock counts Mixing of Oncology Medication when needed Requirements B.Pharm Degree Registered at SAPC EE & Non EE Candidates Fully Computer Literate Abilities & Traits Good Pharmacy Practice Good Interpersonal Skills Ability to Work under High Pressure Problem Solving Skills Accuracy Excellent Telephone Etiquette Experience in Chemo Mixing is Advantageous, but must be willing to mix Chemo Drugs.
