Looking for a Picking Supervisor- Citrus in Limpopo to employ oversee the picking team for a temporary contract. Ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and optimizing warehouse operations. Essential tasks involve scheduling, training, and performance monitoring. Responsibilities: Supervise a team of pickers to ensure orders are picked accurately and efficiently Train new pickers on the proper picking procedures and safety protocols Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control team to ensure stock availability Implement and enforce productivity goals for the picking team Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the picking team Ensure all picking equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition Perform regular quality checks on picked orders to ensure accuracy Communicate with other departments, such as shipping and receiving, to ensure timely order fulfillment Requirements: Prior experience in warehouse operations and management Ability to manage and supervise a team of pickers efficiently of 500 staff Excellent communication skills to coordinate with other departments and management Knowledge of inventory management and tracking systems Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment Physical stamina and ability to work on feet for long hours Understanding of safety procedures and ability to enforce them Flexibility to work weekends and irregular hours as per business needs Picker, Supervisor, Citrus, Limpopo
